This is interesting insight.

It appears God was intentional with literally every instruction that he gave concerning not only the tabernacle but also the things in it and around it.

I’m curious to know more. I have some reading to do.

The love that God has for us is truly amazing. Coming to understand that God is right there when we speak to Him, (He is not on his way or occupied with someone or something else), He is right there and that He listens is a wonderful revelation to cherish. What a loving Father we have.

I believe it is such lessons pertaining to God and who He is, that give strength and peace to us so that we may wait upon Him in all that we ask or seek, knowing that He sees and knows all and at the appointed time will bring to pass that which is perfect for us. I myself am still learning to let God be God.

Amen

Thank you for the clarity provided concerning the Hebrew bible. I have not studied the Hebrew bible. It has been through different conversations i have heard that led me to understand that the Torah and the Tanakh are separate books rather than separate of the old Testament.

Greetings in Jesus name

I’ve heard of the Torah and Tanakh spoken of as two different books, but your reflection clearly outlines that it is one book – The old testament.

I have so many questions running through my mind right now. I guess structure can indeed change a narrative as you have mentioned.

I’m realising that our obedience to God is also important as you have mentioned that Israel was “tasked” with destroying the places of worship. If we do not obey, we lose a lot, especially when one looks at this as a spiritual cleansing. Worship to my understanding is spiritual and God alone deserves all of it.
